Busy week for me. I cranked out a bunch of stuff because for the first time in a very long time, it was rather quiet after two noisy ex-neighbors moved out. In case you just woke up from a coma, here are the highlights from Tao of Pauly this past week...
Shut Up and Play the Hits or How I Killed a Purple Cow - A mini-review of the documentary about LCD Soundsystem's final show at MSG, which really hit home because I also made a difficult decision last year to take an extended hiatus with Tao of Poker.

Three Empty Apartments - The transient nature of the Slums of Beverly Hills... as a struggling actress and violin player moved onto the next phase of their lives.

Get Lucky - Daft Punk released a new single titled Get Lucky, which helped incite a huge rumor at Coachella.

Purple Haze and Pink Sunsets - SoCal skies. I woke up and the sky was purple. At dusk, the sky was pink.

Scar Tissue and Funky Monks - I wrote a review of Anthony Keidis' memoir Scar Tissue, which gave me some flashbacks about seeing them for the first time when I was in high school.

Starbucks Hell, 90210 - The customers at my local Starbucks fall into four categories. Find out who they are.

Over at Ocelot Sports, I continue to write weekly column about the Yankees called The Bronx Bums Report. Take a peek.

If you're a Deadhead then you know the significance of the Barton Hall show from 1977. But did it really happen? Or was it a hoax? Check out... Grateful Dead Barton Hall Conspiracy.

This week's writing music was primarily Black and Blue by The Rolling Stones.
