Providence Misadventures with Senor, Singer and Kato....?
Well I'm back.... from a weekend getaway in New England. Got to see Senor's new house (nice!), got to see newly refurbished Providence. We met up with Brad Singer, who drove down from Boston. Finally, I got to see a show at the infamous Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel. A cool venue, a cross between the Electric Factory in Philly and Irving Plaza in NYC. Everyone is very nice and cordial in Rhode Island, and P-town has a hefty share a adorable Phishy chicks! Parts of Providence reminded my of the Highlands in Atlanta and some parts reminded me of the Northwest like Portland and Seattle. It rained a lot, just like in Seattle!
And most importantly, the highlight of my weekend, I played 8 hours of poker at Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut on Saturday. I doubled my money and played $4-$8 Texas Hold 'em with none other than.... Kato Kaelin! I had the best rush (run of lucky cards) that I ever had since I started playing cards! More stories to come... but for now, Senor is alive, well, and he started his new life. It's looks promising!
