Mother Nature 2, Pauly 0

It was awful weather in NYC today, with high winds and lots of rain. With a ton of snow piled up on sidewalks and streets, the mild tempatures (mid 30s) melted most of the snow and the heavy down pour... created serious flodding everywhere, especially on street corners. Some of them were submerged underneath a couple of feet of water.

Alas, I slipped and fell on my way home from the subway. From the faint street lights I could see the glistening sheets of thin ice that formed on the sidealks... thirty or so yards of slick and slippery ice made it difficult to walk. The hard part was the parts of the street in the utter darkness, and thats where I slipped and fell!
