Top 10 Phish in Las Vegas Moments: #8 Trey Flubs the Lyrics to a Rare... Esther
The last time Phish performed Esther was 9.30.2000... in Las Vegas on Trey's birthday. He messed up the lyrics (part of the resons why Phish the perfectionists rarely perform Esther... it'd too difficult to recall all those lyrics that Trey had written probably 20 years ago). Alas, Esther was only performed twice in 1998 and since 1995, Esther has only been performed live 10 times. A rare song indeed. Perhaps the boys will bust it out this tour in Vegas?
