Kurt Cobain Was Whacked 10 Years Ago Yesterday...

Don't believe what you've heard. Here's the truth. Courtney Love was involved in the murder... not the suicide of her husband Kurt Cobain... as we've been duped to believe as the truth for the last decade.

A few bloggers had some things to say about the 10th Anniversary of Kurt's death. Wil Wheaton had an interesting entry yesterday called: Give Me a Leonard Cohen Afterworld where he wrote a little piece on the issue at hand. Here's a bit:
"Meh. There's one less Junkie in the world," I said. The truth was, I'd recently lost a dear friend to suicide, and Kurt's death brought back a lot of unresolved sorrow over my own loss.

I didn't know Kurt, and his death didn't greatly impact my life. But I knew his music, and when I came to understand his addiction, and his frustrations with the music industry's efforts to turn him into just another commodity, I felt sad for him, and mourned his loss.

I don't think Kurt Cobain was that great a musician, and I can speak from experience, because even I was able to play along with most of Nevermind, without learning any new chords. But he was an amazing writer, and his real legacy can be seen in garage bands and on record store shelves all over the world. Dave was right: without Kurt Cobain and Nirvana, there would be no Perl Jam, no Soundgarden, no Alice in Chains, and Seattle would just be this mysterious city where it rains a lot.
And yes, everyone's favorite Norwegian blogger Sigge had a tribute yesterday on his blog. He also included links to Kurt Cobain's suicide note.

The Smoking Gun has an interesting perspective on the alleged suicide.

The most damaging information can be found on Tom Grant's site: The Kurt Cobain Murder Investigation. Here's a bit:
After several months of intensive investigation, including dozens of taped interviews with Cobain's closest friends and family members, I reached the conclusion that Courtney Love and Michael Dewitt, (the male nanny who lived at the Cobain residence), were involved in a conspiracy that resulted in the murder of Kurt Cobain.

It appears this was not the first attempt on Cobain's life by Courtney Love. It was, however, the first to succeed... Motivated by profit, rather than truth, Courtney Love and her attorney's have taken drastic measures in an effort to keep the public from learning the true facts of this case. In spite of all their hot air, this investigation has received coverage in hundreds of major magazines, television and radio talk shows around the world.

THE OBVIOUS QUESTIONS:

1. If Cobain injected himself with a deliberate heroin overdose, why would he ALSO shoot himself in the head with a shotgun, leaving his baby daughter - the love of his life - with horrific visual images to remember him by? Why not just "go to sleep" on the overdose and never wake up?

2. IF Cobain injected three times a lethal dose of heroin, COULD he then pick up a shotgun and shoot himself? Wouldn't he have been immediately incapacitated?

Based on the heroin, (morphine), blood levels found in Cobain's body, preliminary research indicates Kurt Cobain would have been immediately incapacitated. He could not have picked up that shotgun. He could not have pulled that trigger!
By the way, you must check out an article from the Village Voice called Grinning and Baring It which chronicles the crimes of Courtney Love after her most recent trip to NYC.
